Black mould bacteria is a serious health hazard. The bacterial spores, if left untreated, are linked to respiratory diseases, allergic responses and a host of other health issues. Unfortunately, the climate of New Zealand is rife for the proliferation of mould which is compounded by various weather tightness issues, our humid environment and flooding.
We first establish the moisture content and the source of the moisture. We will develop a remediation plan which will involve the containment of spores using airflow management. Our misting technology kills spores in situ, however depending on the level of contamination and spread, removal of interior materials may be required. We will then use an applicable drying method, appropriate for the specific property, followed by stringent clearance testing.
